So my order came, and it was like christmas... high risk shorts fit, shirt is adorable, hat... I don't want to take the fedora off my head... and just can't wait for the festivals that come with the warm weather to roll around so i can wear it... with the sunglasses of course...
Tragedy struck when I went to put the shoes on... they are absolutely 120% of what I expected... buttt.... they don't fit... I failed, i should of asked someone that had ordered shoes from them before, but I wear a 7-7.5 normally so I went with the 7... Fail... should of ordered the 8. There is no way to even shove my foot in them they are too small.
I am going to hold on to them and return them with the invoice in the store when I go down to SLO (I will be there the 22-25th and to return them by mail thy have to be post marked by the 28th of april... so even if they won't take them back in the store I can mail them off) I am cheap though and don't want to pay to ship them back, if I can just return them in the store...
I will proably be ordering the right size and paying shipping for them to send me the right size though... they are that cute... and I think manageable 5 inch heals...
until then I will prance around the house in my shorts, shades and fedora and be happy.
This weekend includes the Plan it Green conference, which I don't think I have mentioned much about. But its a big conference and this years theme is local self reliance, I am really excited about all the workshops going on, and hope I can make it up to watch the lawn to a garden workshop a group is doing in a local historic house next to where the event is taking place. I have been making phone calls like it was my job (like I was getting paid to do it, which I am not) to all the food dontation companies and all the exhibitors, non-profits and sponsers, I am in charge of the silent auction and whatever misc. things come up day of that need attention. Lucky me.. I really hope its sunny and blue skys... it would be a great wake from this dreary weather and a great way to kick off spring/summer.
Sunday I wll be easter egg hunting, dyeing more eggs, and doing a beer hunt, oh and making two bunny cakes (I will take pictures) one for my house, one for the beer hunt party.... so excited, really hope its nice weather!
