Here are the det's:
Date: Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012
Location: Ravens Nest, Timberline Lodge, Oregon
Colors: Blue and Yellow
Invitations: Designed by Kristen Calderwood
Favors: handmade with Stampin' Up stuff (So excited to share this one with you! Just waiting for a couple stamps to arrive in the mail)
Dress: A surprise, duh! ; ) but it is a Maggie Sattero
Photographer: Lyfe Photography (Super happy about this one too!)
table style: Long U shaped, so everyone can sit together.
Sooo excited, and things are getting squared away, alot has gotten done in the last few weeks.
Date has been set (yes, really a Wednesday). Location set, photographers met and decided, invites designed, printed, cut, mailed. Registry's created, Website up! Cake tasting and deciding done. Lodging for everyone to stay close by and celebrate with us.
We are getting down to more of the details, which while stressful and overwhelming at first, is a sign that the big things are taken care of. I still need to determine someone to do hair, figure out centerpieces/flowers, make favors, find the small details like the flower for my hair, frame for the guest book tree, makeup, and then making sure everything goes smoothly...
Kristopher is free most of April (so he says) so he's got a short list of things he's in charge of doing for me, including developing a music playlist and putting it together on an Ipod, going and cutting wood down and making trivets for part of centerpieces (I figure he'll enjoy this one), and figuring out day before and the day before before dinner food (which he wants to cook, which is awesome and cheaper : ) )
RSVP's are coming in, and it does make me sad at the no's that are there, I get it, I understand, and there will be time to celebrate with those loved ones as well, and I smile and get happy when I see yes's too.
The space is amazing, and soon I'll post pictures of invites, location, flower ideas, etc... just haven't gotten to getting them on the computer.
In other news, work is going well, balancing the two jobs, working out, and planning a wedding has been a good kind of busy, but exhausting.
Kristen did come out yesterday and we had a Stampin' Up Party for a few girlfriends of mine here. It was a good different and normal things to do from all of the above craziness going on, which is nice, and I believe I may be getting some free stamps out of it (along with the ones for the wedding stuff) so thats always fun and exciting, finally getting a little collection going, which means it's going to get more and more affordable to make fun exciting different cards and things... I will have to also take a picture of the favor she gave me that she made with the stuff, so creative and cute, almost made me want to change the favors for the wedding, but I didn't ; )
Oh and I filed taxes, (which I was dreading b/c I really did think I owed money this year) and got 200 back! Which then lead to looking at flights for my friend Lindsay's wedding the first weekend in June (while dually asking the scheduling manager if anyone else had asked for those days off - and gaining a no response) and found a killer deal with a $166 ticket and a $47 rental car for the 1st-3rd! Booked that right up, so I have that wonderful celebration to look forward to attending as well (Kristopher will be leaving for 'summer camp' for the army to help run it the day before I leave, so he won't be coming with, but it'll still be a fun trip!)
Anywho, I hope you are all doing well, too many words, and not any pictures, my apologizes! Soon though I promise!

sooo sooo overdue!
Alright folks... its time, and there is finally a few minutes to do such.
The big news since November...
Kristopher and I are engaged!
This beauty arrived on Christmas for me...
So now the planning, waiting for orders, trying to figure out if May is when the event is happening has commenced.
The dress shopping happened a few weeks ago when my mother flew up to do exactly that. Now just to get it altered to a correct fit and we will be motion there...
Then there is still the date, place, food, photos, family, friends, etc.
Wish me luck and I will try and keep you posted...
but if nothing else, life is good, busy and stressful, but wonderful.

Still here, still working...
I am still here, I promise, just working. I believe (as of the last count and look at the calender) that I will have worked all but 3 days in the month of november, and 1 of those I spent at the courthouse dealing with that pesky speeding ticket from April...
1 day was thanksgiving - see below for details.
and 1 day I believe I spent sleeping all day b/c I worked an overnight the night preceding it.
Self induced here so I am not asking for pity (Although gifts will be accepted, especially coffee and chocolate, and homemade caramels), I am quite happy actually.
Besides realizing on the way home today (from the second job of the day) that I
1. never did grab dinner and
2. have really been soo busy I haven't even grabbed coffee many times I have planned on it... and thats saying something...
I am enjoying every minute of working soo much, well minus the seeing Kristopher as much... but there is time for that in there.
Work is good, the new job has a big learning curve, which I love the challenge of, including being thrown tasks on black friday by the manager, thinking, "WTF do you think I know that makes you think I know what to do with this customer". : )
It also has brought me a new sense of calm, relaxed, self at the old/on call job, just as with anything you are no longer required to be at, or fully rely on for something, it makes it easier to make that money, be there, and hold the line when you are suppose to, got me? good... moving on....
Thanksgiving was a bit strange, bf's parentals did not end up coming, and doubled with the weather he was in an Eyore mood, but I carried on and focused on some thanksgiving food being carried out... pumpkin and apple pie, green bean casserole, and homemade rolls happened (sounds quicker and easier said then done, btw)... and he grilled up brisket and did mushroom meatloaf (which seems much more like stuffing then you'd ever think).. just the two of us... excuse me three... ruby was drooling the whole day... just like last year, but not really... ehhh I cooked all day, we had dinner... end of that story.
Black Friday, I choose to sleep... and really, there was nothing I missed, I even looked at adds 4 times over and on the phone with my mother... still... bed ruled... and reminded me that our anniversary was the following day (date wise its the 26th, memorable event wise, it happened to be black friday last year) sweet, simple, and reminded me oh how absolutely greatful and blessed I am and have been this past year for soooo sooo much. ...Friends, family, bf, ruby, One good job allowing me to move to a city that makes me smile on the inside even when i'm not on the outside, another job when I needed something better, new friends, old friends becoming better friends, and memories to cherish a lifetime....
Moving past this ever greatfulness I have maintained focus on working hard to be able to not stress or freak out about taking a week off at christmas, and being able to relax and enjoy that trip, I have continued to ignore my coworkers raving about sales (especially shoes and clothes)....
Today was Cyber Monday however... Tulle.... really??? ...70% off.... you got me... so I folded, but everything should work for work, and I spent a whole $60 and ended with 2 skirts, 2 sweater and a shirt... I think I deserve that for working 28 days this month, and many 10+ hour days (I have already clocked 26 hours this week between the 2 jobs.... sick??, possibly. but I am also that girl that can't just run a 5k, I've got to do a marathon, 'member?)
Which also makes me think that this post is full of complete tangents... sorry... refer to last statement... = brain is fried and its time for bed.... good night!

Friday 5...
Alright, so heres a quick 5 photos for Friday to recap what has been happening in my life....
1. Chicken strips! Home Made... amazingness and fairly quick...
1 cup buttermilk
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
2 pounds skinless chicken breast (pounded to even thicknesses, cut into strips
2 cups bread crumbs (they suggest using whole wheat but I used what I had)
Olive oil for drizzling (I sprayed them)
Mix the first 4 ingredients above.
Dip Chicken strips in that sauce, then roll in bread crumbs
Then place on a wire rack on top of a cookie sheet (line with aluminum foil for easy clean up)
Drizzle olive oil (I spray using the Misto)
Cook at 400 Degrees for about 16 minutes - until golden and cooked through (I flipped them half way through, and end up cooking them a litle bit longer to get a bit crisper too)
Bam, chicken strips done easy - you can freeze them too (if they make it to the freezer - This is round 2, I made some yesterday and by the time I got home from work they had disappeared! )
2. Look at that face!!!
3. The Great Pumpkin as promised!
4. Broken rear window.... wah wah.... fixed now though... and insurance adjusted so the 'next time' this 'doesn't happen' it only will cost me $50 instead of $200 to fix
5. The prize for the 1/2 marathon... Tiffanies
And ok, a bonus #6 b/c its important to include someone's face other than the dogs on here...
6. The girls that all ran the Nike Womens 1/2 Marathon and received above pictured Tiffany's
Enjoy your weekend!

A great morning.
Its 9:45 AM...
I have:
- Been to the gym, busted out 3 miles on the treadmill rocking out and thinking I am way cooler than I am....
- Taken a shower
- Sat down and had 2 cups of coffee (really underrated sometimes I think)
-Called and found out my student loan consolidation is being processed and I don't have to start all over again.
- Called to make sure everything is going to go smoothly in transitioning from full time to on call... left a message.
- Breathed a sigh of relief b/c pay stubs posted today and they did in-fact use my sick time for my week in SF. (thank goodness)
- Realized I am working a whole heck of a lot on November, and although that means very little in the free time category... It gives me a sense of calm too b/c frankly a lot (aka the majority) of the stress and anxiety I have had in the last week and a half has been related to money (student loans may be consolidated, may not, trip to SF, trip for Christmas, etc) And working a whole heck of a lot will help ease that.
- My job is ridiculous... and its even more ridiculous b/c I get paid roughly $1 less an hour then I did when I was working Overtime at the other job.... seriously something wrong with that.
- I will be getting a concession phone, which is just kinda cool but again totally unnecessary.
- Apparently, via co-worker, part time bennies are a load of crock and she says I shouldn't waste my
money there until I move to full time its like 14X the amount per paycheck for a PT employee vs
FT.... hmmmm
- Its time to be running, and working out, and moving... I mean, I feel better all around when I do it. Its calms my mind and makes me realize how blessed I am, I am healthy, in a loving relationship, Wonderful friends all over. I have a wonderfully unbelievable place to live and rest my head, I have a full time job with health and dental insurance, and now a 2nd job... in a state that unemployment is nearing double digits....
And now I get to go get ready for work....
Such an odd concept for me... wearing dangling earrings... skirts.... makeup.... bobby pins...
I think I got a little institutionalized this past year... lol
Oh and the pumpkin pie... dud... : (
Tell you about it and will try again later today I suppose...
Happy Halloween!! (and I will post a picture of " The Great Pumpkin" sitting on our front porch!)

Day One
Alright... Sorry for not writting more... been busy..
Will update you slowly about all the happenings, including moving, Nike Womens Marathon (half), Bed Frame drama, thoughts on the future, etc.
For now... today I start at Verizon... who knows what they will have me do this first week in the store... but I start in an hour and 24 minutes...
A little flustered b/c they told me halloween... and thats tomorrow, so I arranged to work at the old job today... well there goes the remainder of my sick time...
Now to get use to blowing out my hair again... lets see if I even remember how to do that :P
Just kidding...
But I think I will be wearing my Kate Spades... yes sir... these beauties where purchased in SF, Kate Spade and Tiffanies in one trip... suppose my half and full marathons are getting better prizes... self awarded or not... their mine : ) (just don't tell Kristopher... he doesn't know about these ones)

Apologizes for the grainy picture....
I decided a post with no or a single bad picture was better then none.. and those are the exact Kate Spades (damn straight I am wearing triangles/deltas to work the first day)
I will let you know how it goes at the new job... such a different thing then what I have been mastering the last year....
I have this single doubt that I am not going to be able to tolerate the meaningless consumerism associated with the job, going from trying to get children to handle their every day life to working with people unable to get their phone to operate correctly... this could be interesting...
I better use my "skills"

Moving weekend!
It is here... and I am still so unmotivated to pack in boxes... honestly I know it will make everything easier... but we are moving 10 minutes away... I really feel like just throwing it all in the car and making a million trips...
Don't get me wrong, things really are mostly packed... I am working on all the last random things that didn't fit elsewhere, or were needed til the last moment.
We sign papers in 5 hours... and I think we are moving the tv tonight... then the garage tomorrow, and everything else with help on Saturday.
I am excited... pictures soon I promise... I will try and snap some of the process as we go (probably getting yelled at for being annoying and not helping in the process, but eh)
And I can not wait til my bed and the 'new to me' bed frame is put together... its just going to make me smile... I will just have to find a bedspread that is masculine enough for KC to be alright with it... I really want some vintage-ie floral pattern, but I don't think that is going to fly.
The next few weekends are already filled with trips, friends, and fun, so I will hopefully keep up with this blog more (isn't that always the case) and take lots of pictures to document and share... moving this weekend (and going to get my hair trimmed here for the first time in almost a year, I know I am terrible) and then camping next, then Bend for a night the next, then up to an ex-co-workers cabin to hang out and celebrate the weekend after that... then its oct... then I have 2 weekends and go to sf for a half marathon.... so much excitement... can't wait!
