Navy Blue that is... actually this is a big week, I will talk about it more next week, after things settle and there are answers, right now things are in the process....However, I have realized I have added a few new Blue items to the closet, which I really didn't have much of, I had more blacks, whites, tans, but really not many navy's. A friend of mine recently got something navy and was having trouble pairing it, and her aunt told her "think of it as black".
What a revelation, it gets simpler after that. Anyhow, this dress didn't need much pairing, but I realize I tend to go for browns with blues, a nice subtle change-up of the ole' black and white.
This is a Tulle purchase, and I am sooo happy with it, its light material, but lined and classy. The neckline is going to take a little getting use to, since it's all the way up to my neck, at some points I feel like it is a little too tight, but nothing so annoying I want to ditch it all together. And to think, I was hesitant to order this one, so glad I did. Adding the belt sealed the deal, as it is a little plain worn solo.
And there are the Nine West heals I scored thrifting for $3.50. And I really really like them. I feel like a "grown up girl" saying I feel like calling them sandals, even though I never consider heals and sandals a possible mix... but these ones I am tempted... still I think sandals define a shoe as being able to go to the beach/park/pool... and I do not wear heals to any of those places.

In other news, going to get the hair trimmed today, It needs to be done, like a couple weeks ago. I have a crazy question though, I think my hair is aware of the fact that I am planning to get it trimmed. I swear every time I set an appointment, it knows, and that morning I wake up and it looks pretty great, now I know it still needs trimmed, but I always seem to have a good hair day the days I go to get it trimmed... like its trying to make me change my mind...
does this happen to you, or is it just my hair that taps into my brain? Sorry its a bit of a strange concept/question, but seriously....

I'm glad your dress worked out! It looks darling. Not one thing from my Tulle order did. Annoying!
