Apologizes

Sorry it has been awhile. But really not much has been going on. I am still waitting to hear from Irvine, and I have a friend that just got an offer from a company in SF, which means I would be one step closer to a job working with him in SF at the same company (would be really ideal if that could happen) and meanwhile I am still in Arcata, shopping thrift store to thrift store and making the best of the beginning of spring.

I found a wonderful skirt at a garage sale this weekend, I got it home and wasn't too happy with it as a skirt... but as a tube dress with a belted waist, Amazing little sun dress! (I will take pictures as soon as I find a day ready for it!) I also found a few pair of jeans and a good rain coat (now the rain will proably stop for the year) for a buck each. Can't really mess with that.

Spring cleaned my closet a little and took stuff to Willow and Rags today, they do consignment clothes, and then you get store credit back for items they sell, so you can buy more items from them (wohoo!) I am hoping not to get to many items back from them, but you never do know.. half the time I think they will love something and I get it back, and they take the stuff I almost just gave to the thrift store to begin with.

Getting ready for the Plan it Green Conference, been busy making phone calls for food donations for the event. This years theme is local self reliance and I am helping out as a coordinator for the event before hand and during the event on April 3rd, so that will be really good for me.

Other then that, really excited about heading to SLO in 5 weeks, and then running my half marathon in 6 weeks! and then my birthday is in about 8 1/2, and then home to murrieta for a wedding in about 11 weeks... and a full marathon in 18 weeks! My goodness, so much going on you wouldn't think I had time to be sad, or lonely...

Hopefully by the end of June/July I will have more of a game plan, I really would prefer not to stay up here past then. That would be a year up here, which is the deadline I set back in December for when I wanted to be out of here. Unfor. it is still a job, in my career field and it pays enough to get me by (with some fancy footwork of course)so if I will leave will yet to be seen. But at least that will be a full year of experience after graduation. And it seems that the job market is slowly but surely pick back up in the bay area... although I have yet to see it, there are offers happening and people moving, so I have to keep my head up and stay motivated to continue to submit my resume as they come up. Until then, I will run and run, and work and try to network as much as I can from here.
