I wish ever Monday ended this well...

Today I got off work, 5 couldn't come soon enough, tired because I had stayed up watching Olympics til 1. Didn't have the energy or desire to get my act together and do the hw for my evening class, nor did I want to go sit in a classroom for 3 hours after my work day... so I didn't go (rebel I know), instead what did I do,

Went shopping for some good running capri leggings... I need a pair made for running, badly... and after doing my taxes this weekend, I figure I can afford to get a pair or two... so I headed to kohls, b/c thats about as good as it gets up here... boy did I score/cause some damage!!!!

I did find some nice Fila pants that I will race in probably both my 1/2 and Full... then I browsed the sale racks... b/c you have to... thats where things got crazy...

I have watched Lauren Conrads designs in Kohls for the past year or so, liking the patterns but many of her items have more flow-ie-ness to them that falls flat on me... however there is an adorable strapless dress, above the knee dress with pockets and a defined zipper up the back... but I didn't have a reason enough to get it before...

Guess what finally hit the sale rack!!!! Score!! It could use a being brought in just a touch on the hips... but pretty much made my day... $50 dress for....... $15!!!!!!

and then I also picked up, get this, six shirts! I know... crazy, but I walked out for a grand total of $62!!!!!! No joke... 6 shirts in a range of colors, prints, cuts, and purposes....



I will be showing off all of it as we go... above is the "rainbow of colors and patterns picked up, including a green plaid tunic I will be sporting for st. patties day!.. a nice little Cal long sleeve shirt to run in, and another good shirt for a pre/post racing....

My mother taught me well... $62.... with my $24 leggings ("the splurge") Kristen Conrad dress $15 (Wearing it for a wedding in June!) and six shirts... life is ok....
