Too much going on upstairs...

Do you ever feel like you have so many profound thoughts to talk about, that you can not for the life of you figure out how to write a complete concise piece about it, or pick one to talk about exclusively...
welcome to my life!

Instead I will leave you with a brief list/links of parts of the thought entanglement...

- I am flying to southern California Tuesday... i'm going to probably melt, but will be able to wear shorts!

- Operation Beautiful... its sooo something I would do, it kinda hits me as, why haven't I been doing that? type of thing

- I am suffering from a mild case of wanderlust...

Wanderlust - defined as is a strong desire for or impulse to wander, or, in modern usage, to travel and to explore the world... case in point.

- My father is having to be/hopefully already done, being escorted by 2 vehicles and 7 people to be able to travel home on leave from his tour in the middle east for a few weeks... to get to the helicopter, to get to the actual plane... that sounds safe now doesn't it....

- PADRESSSSS, wohooo!!!!!!!! : )

- I am so greatful to not be working for the Manhattan City Planning Department at this moment, as I can only begin to imagine the number of calls, emails, letters, threats and complaints about the mosque being proposed "near" the ground zero site...a friend posted this, and although not 100% on the mark, brings up the real facts of location, actual type of structure, view of, and a bit of the irony of "letting someone build on OUR land/space".... and thus brings a whole new argument of who owns space/land and who decides what you can and can not do with it... oh wait, me I am the planner that shatters peoples dreams, hopes, and financial stability....
- I had a very interesting conversation with a few people last night regarding the whole So Cal/Central California/Nor Cal division... all that is for sure is that I am in Hella Nor Cal, that my parents do live in So Cal, San Luis Obispo is in Central California... but the bay area is up for debate... I don't think the debate will ever truly be answered... I just find it humorous, as no one out of California really cares at all.

And last but definitely not least....

- Is it snow season yet??
